I have presented here a the first-few of my paintings, all themed around Kali. Kali is the source of all knowledge, the source of both delusion and release from delusion. The sight of Kali is not terrible; it is wonderful. See Ma, evaluate her from all her facets, find out about her yourself, and find out the way you can love Her best. You must see Her in Her playful form, her terrifying form, all her forms, and love her.
For me she appears in the form of an innocent baby child, and with great love I bring her to you.

The diversity of styles and medium across Nazia’s work make her portfolio both remarkable and surreal. While this diversity tells you that this young artist is still making up her mind, it also highlights her original and rich imagination.
Nazia displays great visual clarity in each of her neo paintings, no matter how abstract or surreal her themes maybe. Her method is to make an impact through the theme itself, projected to the audience through a shock of colors or geometry.
Recently, she took a sabbatical from her formal education to spend time in Goa with the hippies and the vibrant nature of the tropical paradise. The elements of this detour from the normal life are very evident in her recent works.
The crossover element in Nazia’s work also due to her growing up in Dubai, from where Nazia moved to Kerala with her family at the impressionable age 17 which must have caused her to imbibe the Indian themes which she presents with a cosmopolitan sensibility.

Nazia's canvases bear the unmistakable stamp of genius and are sheer poetry in colour. The blues, the bright pinks, and greens and the golden sands glistening in the sun are all reminiscent of a beautiful coastal region. She has taken all these colours and elements from Indian Mythology and transformed them into abstract art forms that are symbolic and divorced from naturalism. Powerful imagery and the wonderful blending of hues make her paintings a visual treat and a finely balanced piece of art.
